Maybe Not Even is a blues-rock band from Annapolis, Maryland. Since their inception, the group has been comprised of Jeff K (vocals, bass) and D.J. Rocco (guitar). However, the band now performs with Brian Sparrow on drums and Tony Cannon on Saxophone. Maybe Not Even is known for their impressive live performances and their fusion of many musical genres including rock, blue-eyed soul and pop music.
Jeff K and D.J. met while playing together in a former band, Ocean View. They performed with this group for two years before breaking off to form their own sound. Together they produced and recorded their debut album almost entirely on their own, with help arriving in the form of a single recording engineer and a hired drummer. Recently the band has grown into a four piece featuring Brian Sparrow on drums and Tony Cannon on saxophone.
Today their blues and pop inspired sound can be heard on Maybe Not Even’s EP, “It Could Happen” – available at Best Buy as well as on iTunes. The band is currently playing to a growing fan base centered in the Maryland/D.C. area and members of the band have performed with or opened for such national acts as Jason Mraz and Brett Dennen. The band has been featured on Baltimore radio station 98 Rock and southern Maryland online station The Bay Net Radio and they have performed at notable venues such as the 8×10, Club Sonar and The Senator Theater as well as bars all across the state.
